Svebor Secak will dance the role of Rothbart in Derek Deane`s Swan Lake at the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb on January 29 and February 3 & 8, 2010.

Svebor Sečak, the artistic director of Ballet troupe Croatia decided to coproduce ballet THE NUTCRACKER LEGEND choreographed by Pascal Touzeau with Madrid Ballet from Spain.  

The opening night will take place on November 29, 2009 at 7.30 pm at the City Theatre Komedija in Zagreb, Croatia after which the ballet will be performed at the Music Theatre in Basel, Switzerland on December 12 and 13, 2009.

Svebor Sečak danced the role of Hamlet on the ceremonious opening of the XV International Dance Festival on November 9, 2009 before more than 1,000 overwhelmed spectators at the Aula Magna in Maracaibo, Venezuela.

Svebor Sečak danced the title role in ballet Hamlet at Fort St. Catherine, St. George, Bermuda as part of guest performances of Ballet troupe Croatia and cooperation with the Bermuda Civic Ballet.

The performances took place from September 01 to 04, 2009 at 8.30 pm.

CID UNESCO organised the 23rd World Congress on Dance Research in Malaga, Spain between July 15 and 19, 2009. Svebor Secak was invited to participate as a lecturer in the Congress.

On July 17, 2009 he gave a lecture on Shakespeare`s Romeo and Juliet as ballet.

Svebor Secak, principal dancer of the Ballet of the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb and an internationally acclaimed ballet artist celebrated 30 years of his artistic work on June 30, 2009 at 7.30 pm at the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb. The 15th anniversary of Ballet troupe Croatia that was founded by Svebor Secak in 1994, was marked in the same evening with the opening night of  a new ballet project called the "Fifth instrument", choreographed by Svebor Secak to the music of various authors played by the String Quartet Rucner.

Svebor Secak will dance the role of Widow Simone on the opening night of La Fille Mal Gardée that will take place at the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb on May 15, 2009 at 7.30 pm.

His next appearances in this role will be on May 16, 21 and 22, 2009.

Svebor Secak will dance the role of Hamlet in ballet Hamlet (Tchaikovsky) on the occasion of the Easter Pegasus Night at the Cultural Centre in Rogaska Slatina, Slovenia on Friday, April 10, 2009 at 7.30 pm.

Svebor Secak was invited to give a presentation at the 3rd. International Dance Congress that is ongoing in Istanbul from April 08 to April 12, 2009.

On Thursday April 09, 2009 Svebor Secak successfully gave a presentation at the Congress on the topic Ballet and Its Classicism.                              

Svebor Secak will dance the role of Rothbart on February 3, 5, 7 and 10, 2009 at the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb in Derek Deane`s production of Swan Lake.

Fernanda Oliveira, principal of the English National Ballet will dance the role of Odette /Odile as a guest artist and Jegor Menjsikov will dance the role of the Prince.

Svebor Secak as the President of the Croatian Society of Professional Ballet Artists was the Chairman of the general assembly that took place on Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at 1 pm in the Foyer of the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb.

This was also an opportunity for its members to celebrate the Croatian Day of Ballet.   

Svebor Secak will dance the role of Emperor Caligula in the same ballet he choreographed to the music of Aram Khachaturian at the Cultural Centre in Korcula On July 23, 2008 at 9 pm.

On July 25, 2008 ballet Caligula of Ballet troupe Croatia will be a part of the ceremonious opening of the manifestation the Night of Diocletian and will be performed at the Diocletian Palace in Split at 9 pm.

Svebor Secak danced the role of Hamlet in the same ballet choreographed to the music of P. I. Tchaikovsky, on July 14, 2008 at the Kanli Kula fort in Herceg Novi and at the Summer Theatre in Tivat, Montenegro on July 15, 2008.

Svebor Secak will participate and give a presentation of his research at the 22. World Congress that will take place in Athens, Greece from July 02 to 06, 2008.

Svebor Secak will dance the role of Hamlet at the Gyula Shakespeare Festival in Hungary on July 11, 2008 at 8.30 pm.

The performance will take place at the Gyula Castle.

SVEBOR SECAK started to shoot a new crime series "GOOD INTENTIONS" produced by Odeon Productions. The series will be broadcasted on the Croatian Television between November 2007 and April 2008.

In this series Svebor Secak is the Mysterious Man.  

Svebor Secak is the organiser of the exclusive artistic programme for New Year´s Eve at one of the most prestigious Croatian five star hotels Le Meridien Lav Split.

The programme will include opera and ballet numbers chosen from the appropriate repertoire. 

Svebor Secak performed his ballet Hamlet to the music of P.I. Tchaikovsky at the 43. International Festival in Hammamet, Tunisia on July 17, 2007.

After its successful appearance in 2005 with ballet HAMLET, Ballet troupe Croatia is returning to LBT of Sadler´s WElls with its new production of ballet CALIGULA.

The performance will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2007 at 8 pm. Tickets can be bought at the Box Office of the Sadler´s Wells Theatre.

The opening night of ballet CALIGULA to the music of Aram Khachaturian will take place at the Croatian National Theatre in Varaždin on December 28, 2006 at 7.30 pm.

The choreographer and the leading soloist is Svebor Sečak with soloists and ensemble members of the Ballet of the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb.  

On February 03, 2006  the opening night of the ballet The Sleeping Beauty  will take place at the CNT in Zagreb. The choreographer is Derek Deane and Svebor Secak will dance the role of the English Prince.

The last production of ballet  The Sleeping Beauty at the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb, that had its opening night on November 25, 1990 was choreographed by the renowned Waclaw Orlikowsky. Svebor Secak danced the role of Prince Florimund with Lydia Mila Milovac as Aurora.

On November 24, 2005 Svebor Secak was granted the award of the Croatian Association of Drama Artists for the best male ballet leading role in the seasons 2003/2004 and 2004/2005.

Svebor Secak has been granted the Oskar Harmos award of the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb for the best male role in the season 2004/2005 for his interpretation of Tybalt in Prokofiev´s ballet Romeo and Juliet.

Svebor Sečak is the choreographer of the first national ballet composed by Krešimir Baranović The Gingerbread Heart.

The opening night will take place at the Croatian National Theatre in Osijek on June 23, 2005 at 9 pm.

His Ballet troupe Croatia is travelling to Japan on April 08, 2005 where it will give two performances of its national programme within the celebration of the Croatian national Day at Expo on April 10 and April 12, 2005.
